A fond memory of Hong Kong people, De Yucca has witnessed the prosperity of Hong Kong’s film and television culture while attracting fans from all over the world.

The tea house started in 1963. Many celebrities gather here because of its view of the sea, and the space gradually became a representative of the regional culture.

Between the 1960s and 1980s, De Yucca has gradually become a holy place for filming Cantonese films. International and local movie stars such as Bruce Lee, Patrick Tse, Lui Kay, Connie Chan, Bowie Woo, Josephine Sia, Lydia Sum, etc., not only shot here but often frequented the tea house recreationally.

After 40 years, De Yucca closed in 2005 and was converted into 23 traditional continental-style villas. Today’s story will begin here.

Developing on the continental design, modern elements, and oriental colors are integrated into the scheme, bringing the culture of the past into a new space.

The luxury residential designer utilized an elegant white as the base tone, then translated the existing traditional continental style into the ceilings and walls to echo the appearance of the building. The TV wall and the white, brown, and maroon gradient bar are symmetrical, filled with modern colors and layers, creating a balanced and varied space.

The use of marble and glass on either side of the TV intersected traditional and modern interior design styles, configuring a harmonious atmosphere whilst highlighting the beauty of the collection.

The luxury home interior designer carefully chose a special textured bar as well as a glass wall to create a modern atmosphere. The wine cabinet is designed with soft leather and a rose metal border, interrupting the recurring pattern. When placed under the light, a sense of warmth is evoked.

The use of the simple dresser adds a modern element to the classical space, with the bold straight lines and soft curves intersecting in the background, elevating the stylistic fusion to a new level.

The luxury home interior designer meticulously selected fabrics to bring a sense of comfort into the living space, in order to integrate both rigid and soft elements to further the use of layering.

With the objective of creating a lively and youthful atmosphere, the luxury residential designer injected additional modern elements into the children’s room, simplifying the line design as well as the wood and steel in order to make the space feel contemporary and colorful.

The luxury residential designer utilized cutting-edge technology and sophisticated layouts to integrate the individual works of a variety of styles within the interior space, executing the home as a platform for displaying artistic accomplishments.

Instead of traditional murals, the luxury home interior designer fabricated the electronic picture frame as the central decoration of the dining room, which satisfies the owner’s need for a display of photographic works as well as a demonstration of their artistic personality. Modern materials such as marble, glass and metal adorn the entire floor, filling the house with a sense of contemporary style.

Oil paintings are placed on the turning of the stairs, creating a dynamic threshold area for guests to be pleasantly surprised with.

In a place with great culture, SOSA’s professional luxury home interior design team, with their unique sense of culture, art, and technology are skilled in guiding homeowners in integrating modern elements and oriental colors with traditional continental design styles, hence creating new possibilities for personal art exhibitions.
