Garden Terrace exceeds its’ existing purpose as an apartment after the luxury interior designer transformed it into a magnificent space of art. The designer saw this renovation as the perfect opportunity to showcase the owner’s years of art collection, their variety of elegant musical instruments, and classical furniture. All these grandeur elements work together in unison to create a harmonious reflection of the maximalist luxury environment desired by the owners of the apartment.

The dining room is a perfect example of the symbiotic relationship achieved between Western and traditional elements, with a beautiful Chinese Harp sitting amongst a variety of classical furniture. Despite their differing origins, the colors and patterns work in harmony to create a glorious environment.

The parquet wall of bird’s eye wood seamlessly connects the wine cabinet with the living area, exuding an ambiance of elegance. The feature leads into a stage area, showcasing the owner’s collection of Western musical instruments. Both electronic and grand pianos are from Steinway & Sons’, beautifully hand-crafted world-class pianos, demonstrating the owner’s persistent pursuit of music.

Each piece of work within this home tells a deeper story, holds a deeper history, and touches the heart of those who know it. Therefore, the luxury home interior designer decided to utilize the aisle space as a unique display platform for each exquisite collection. No matter the price of these artifacts, the memories bestowed upon them render them priceless.

The visual impact of the apartment was created through the use of varied textures throughout the space, the notion extends from the dining room into all the other spaces. This interior design job meticulously depicts aspects of the owner’s personality and pursuit of life through the details.

The textured walls and cabinet doors in the master bedroom mirror those in the living room, the silver-gray cloth wallpaper adding layers of hierarchy to the space. The interior of the master bedroom prioritizes comfort over complicated embellishments, thriving in simplicity and elegance.

The artistic atmosphere of the house extends to all bathrooms, with specially selected marble walls and mosaic tiles with distinct textures to create a strong visual impact upon entering. Clever installation and placement of light strips enhance the experience in the bathrooms as well as a recessed chandelier feature in the guest bathroom. The threshold leading into the guest bathroom is adorned with calligraphy works created from old newspapers, integrating the owner’s Chinese culture with Western interiors. The poem “室雅何須⼤,花⾹不在多” speaks and reflects the owner’s internal monologue, introducing not only musicality but literature into the space as art.

The luxury interior designer used walnut wood and dark green walls to create a British-style study room as an extension of the western interior of the living areas. Through careful design decisions, a classical space was achieved.

Despite the space being magnificently decorative and ornamental, the luxury interior designer maintained human-centric spaces, ensuring both functionality and comfort.

The luxury home interior designer utilized warm-colored light strips under the steps leading into the living area to highlight the space and to guide users at night. Metal handrails on the side fully consider and account for the possible changes in the physical condition of the clients as they continue to live and age in the home.

This care extends into the master bathroom, with safety rails installed to ensure for safety at all times, no matter the age of the occupants. As well as a wheelchair-accessible shower area, this design was created with longevity in mind for the occupants to grow old in this home.
